What you get

Six tools for the money side of your business

Doquxu is a finance app built for sole traders, shops, cafes and small trade crews. Each tool below works on its own, so you only switch on what you need and pay for what you use. All prices are per month, in pounds sterling.

Receipt Capture

Take a photo of a paper receipt and the app reads the date, supplier, total and VAT amount, then files it under the right spending category. You can attach notes, split a single receipt across two categories, and search old slips by supplier name. Paper copies stay in the drawer, but you stop hunting through carrier bags at year end. Photos are stored for six years, which matches the usual record-keeping period for UK businesses.

£6per month, up to 150 receipts

Invoice Builder

Create an invoice on your phone in about a minute, using saved customer details and your own logo. Set payment terms such as 14 or 30 days, add VAT where it applies, and send the PDF by email or message. The app marks each invoice as sent, viewed or paid, so you can see at a glance who still owes you. Gentle reminder messages can go out automatically two days before and three days after the due date.

£9per month, unlimited invoices

Bank Feed Matching

Connect a business current account through secure open banking and the app pulls in transactions each morning. It suggests a match between every payment and the invoice or receipt behind it, and you confirm with one tap. Anything it cannot match is placed in a short list for you to review. Access is read-only, so the app can see transactions but can never move money or change account settings.

£12per month, up to 3 accounts

Cash Flow Forecast

See a 13-week view of money coming in and going out, built from your open invoices, repeat bills and typical seasonal patterns. If a rent payment and a supplier bill land in the same week as a quiet stretch of sales, the forecast shows the dip early, giving you time to chase a payment or move a purchase. You can test simple what-if changes, such as a late customer or a new hire, without altering your real records.

£8per month

Tax Pot Tracker

Set aside the right share of every payment you receive for VAT, income tax or corporation tax, depending on how your business is set up. The app keeps a running estimate of what you will owe at the next deadline and reminds you well before it arrives. Figures are estimates based on your own records, meant to help you plan; they do not replace advice from an accountant for your filing.

£10per month

Accountant Sharing

Give your bookkeeper or accountant their own login to view invoices, receipts and reports without you emailing folders of files. You decide what they can see, and you can remove access at any time. They can leave comments on a transaction, and you get a notification on your phone. At period end, export a tidy summary as a spreadsheet or PDF, ready to hand over for your tax return or year-end accounts.

£5per month, up to 2 guests

How the services work in practice

Starting out

You download the app, add your business name and choose which of the six tools you want. There is no setup fee, and a typical owner finishes the first-day checklist in around 20 minutes. If you get stuck, we reply to requests within about 2 hours on working days, between 09:30 and 17:00.

Mixing and matching

Most of our customers use two or three tools together. A café owner in Bristol might pair Receipt Capture with Tax Pot Tracker, while a self-employed electrician may choose Invoice Builder and Bank Feed Matching. You can add or drop any tool from one month to the next.

Billing terms

Every service is billed monthly with no long contract. Cancel before your next billing date and you will not be charged again. Your data remains available for export for 90 days after you leave, so nothing is lost if you change your mind or move to another system.

Who looks after your data

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell or share it for advertising. Our team of 10 supports around 1,200 businesses, and many of them have returned to add a second tool. For common questions about security and setup, see the FAQ page.
